The GSE digital regulator maintains a stable climate in grow rooms or workshops which require intense ventilation. It's used to control an intake and outtake ventilator. It keeps the difference between the airflow of the two ventilators stable and creates a constant negative pressure, which prevents unwanted odours from spreading out of the room.

The controller can also operate one or two fans, one for the intake and one for the outtake. It's possible to connect it to two outtake ventilators if there's an intake ventilator with a different regulator. The controller has a protective cover rated IP54, which means it's dust-protected and resistant to splashing water from all sides. The high rating and humidity resistance are especially beneficial in the harsh conditions of a grow room. 

The controller is set using three knobs. One sets the temperature, the second sets the minimum speed of the intake fan, and the third controls the negative pressure of the intake ventilator. 

At optimum temperature, the outtake fan remains at the minimum speed, and the intake fan is off. Once the temperature reaches 2 °C below the optimum (hysteresis), the outtake fan gradually increases speed to 100%. The intake fan turns on and increases speed to the maximum negative pressure pre-set on the controller. Once the temperature lowers back to the optimum, both fans gradually lower speeds. 

The controller includes a temperature sensor on a 4m long cable.
