The Malapa MTJ2 is a digital thermostat for switching the connected ventilator according to the room temperature. The device sets the ventilator on the pre-set lowest speed at optimal temperature or lower. When the temperature rises above the ideal temperature, it increases the speed to the pre-set maximum setting. Both the speed settings are step-less and range from 0% to 100%. The ideal temperature can be set anywhere between 0° and 80°C.
By setting the hysteresis, you control when the heating/cooling device turns on/off. For example, if you set the hysteresis to 2°C and the ideal temperature to 20°C, a heater will turn on at 18°C. All settings save automatically. The maximum load of the appliance is up to 900W.
The LCD screen shows the current temperature, optimal temperature and whether the connected appliance is on or off. If there is any fault in the connected device, the thermostat or the sensor, an optical and acoustic alarm turns on. The device is protected by a fuse. The package includes a temperature sensor on a 1,5m cable, a 3m power cable and brackets for attaching the thermostat to a wall.
