It's crucial to watch the temperature of a nutrient solution. Algae and bacteria may spread in the tank if the temperature gets too high. It also lowers the amount of oxygen fixed in the solution. Therefore, a high temperature of the nutrient solution can make the crop vulnerable to diseases and destroy the whole batch. 

Tank chillers are a straightforward solution to this problem. They're used in aquariums, hydroponics (NFT, GHE, aeroponics, etc.) and tanks. These devices are a simple way to keep any liquid chilled, even in a hot summer. Tank chillers by BOYU are easy to use and have a sturdy metal casing.

BOYU L-200 uses a microcomputer to operate and has an automatic safety switch which turns the engine off if it starts to overheat. 

This chiller needs tubes and a pump to function - we recommend the BOYU FP-2000 with an airflow of 2000 litres per hour. The BOYU tank chiller is compatible with larger tanks by Aquaking and Autopot.
